Booking a bed
Rooms and dormitory beds are held through the property's Booking.com listing. Free cancellation, nothing to pay in advance, and taxes are already in the price — you settle at the front desk when you arrive.
Asking a question first
The fastest way to reach the house is Instagram. Messages go straight to the people at the desk rather than into a system.
Arriving
Check-in runs from 13:00 until midnight and the front desk is staffed twenty-four hours, so a late flight is not a problem. Check-out is between 11:00 and 11:30. The minimum age for check-in is 18.
Finding the door
Kokoni Street 52, inside Stone Town, 1.6 km from the centre of Zanzibar City. Most of the lanes here are too narrow for a car, so the last stretch is on foot — look for the round sign above a carved teak door.
Groups of more than four rooms
Larger groups are handled differently from a single booking, so write to the house before you book rather than after.
Bring cash
Cash is the accepted payment method at the property. Pets are not allowed, parties are not allowed, and the whole house is non-smoking.
