Abeid Amani Karume International Airport is 7 km away — usually fifteen or twenty minutes by taxi, longer if the town is busy. Agree the fare before you get in; that is normal here and nobody minds being asked.

what to knowbefore you come

The practical list – check-in from 13:00 to 00:00, check-out 11:00 to 11:30. Minimum age for check-in is 18. Cash is the accepted payment method. No pets, and no parties. Children of any age are welcome, and a cot for under-twos is free on request. Booking more than four rooms works differently, so write first.
